In accordance with applicable regulations, this legal notice defines the identity of the publisher of the Haliago services (mobile application, associated web interfaces, and, where applicable, Haliago Pro).

4. Activity and purpose of the service

Haliago is a community platform allowing users to discover establishments, particularly regarding dietary and ethical criteria, using search, filtering, review, and contribution features.

Haliago does not issue any certification and does not perform physical on-site inspections. The information displayed may be declarative and/or derived from community contributions.

5. Intellectual Property

Elements specific to Haliago forming part of the Platform — including the Haliago name and distinctive signs, logos, texts and editorial content, visual identity, graphic creations, interfaces, software and code, as well as, where they meet the statutory requirements for protection, the selection, organization and presentation of Haliago-specific content, features, indicators and scores — are protected by applicable intellectual property rights. They belong to Haliago or are used by Haliago with the authorization of their respective right holders.

Haliago also makes investments in the creation, verification, enrichment and presentation of its database of establishments. Where the conditions laid down by the French Intellectual Property Code are met, Haliago benefits from the rights granted to the producer of a database. Subject to the exceptions provided by law, and without prior written authorization, the extraction or re-utilization of all or of a qualitatively or quantitatively substantial part of that database is prohibited, as is the repeated and systematic extraction or re-utilization of insubstantial parts where such acts manifestly exceed the normal conditions of use of the Platform.

Without prejudice to exceptions and uses permitted by law, any unauthorized reproduction, representation, adaptation, translation or exploitation of a protected element is prohibited. To the extent permitted by law, scraping, automated collection or re-use of Platform data is prohibited where it constitutes an unlawful extraction or re-utilization as described above, in particular when used to create, populate or enrich a competing service, directory or database.

6. Personal Data

The procedures for processing personal data are described in Haliago's Privacy Policy.

7. Cookies and Trackers

Haliago's web interfaces may use cookies and/or similar technologies, particularly for operational and audience measurement purposes. The details are set out in the Privacy Policy and, where applicable, in a dedicated Cookie Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

Haliago implements reasonable means to ensure access to and the proper functioning of the Platform, without guaranteeing the absence of errors or interruptions.

Haliago shall not be held liable for:

  • the use made by users of the available information,
  • consumption decisions, interactions, or transactions carried out with third parties,
  • the absolute accuracy of declarative data or data derived from community contributions,
  • unavailability attributable to third-party services (networks, app stores, mapping services, etc.).
